Today we are at 28 days and counting

I ran into the transplant nurse today while picking up a hot coco for Alex and I across from Saint Joseph's Hospital.  The cafe we go to is Kaffa and it is very good there!  It was great to see her. She informed me that she would be sending paperwork over to us in the next day or so for Mike. She said his transplant was the next one they had on the schedule. Very exciting!  Today they were performing another transplant surgery.  I can't believe it is really happening and I can't wait to see Mike feeling better.

We have had a couple more friends get in touch in regards to donating blood for the surgery. Mike and amy only need two donations each but Mike need CMV- blood only. So those donating to him will have additional tests taken.
