Raised in an Art Center

Alexander was born in Orange CA at the same hospital that Mike will have his surgery. Three weeks after he arrived he was coming to the Grand Central to be with me while I worked. He was raised on Gypsy Den food and brought up by me, Donald, Amy, loving graduate students, staff and later on Mike. Mike and Alex started to hang out when Alex was about 1 1/2 years old.

I knew Mike and Alex were inseparable as Alex at age 2 would always ask to go to Mike's place to watch cartoons and play. I soon realized that Mike was setting him up with TV, books, popcorn and all that Alex asked for. The kid had it made. They fell in love with each other long before Mike and I ever had a hint that we would be together. How could he resist Alex! They are still inseparable forever and always linked. Mike is an amazing step-father and has helped to raise an amazing boy. We need Mike to be here for a long time to come. Alex has always told Mike that some day he would grow taller than him. He would be able to kick his butt someday also. Mike needs to be around experience that. Ouch!
