The important thing is that his new kidney adapts to his body. Rejection of the new kidney is monitored often and doctors will do everything they can to make sure Mike does not reject his new kidney.
This is a blog by Andrea and Amy. It is full of day to day entries about our lives. It was made for Mike McGee, our friends and anyone who might be interested. Enjoy

Mike will have three kidneys
Mike will go into surgery on June 9th and this is the outcome of a successful kidney transplant. He will keep both his two kidneys and the third will be placed in the front. Unless his remaining kidneys cause him additional problems such as bleeding or infection they will remain. If there are complications the doctors will decide whether or not to remove the diseased kidneys. They will not do this however for some time however.
