Denis Donovan

Denis Donovan is 58 years old, a husband, and father and was documentary
filmmaker before started to experience kidney failure. He was diagnosed in 2001 and has yet to find a blood type O donor to help him. He has been on dialysis for seven years. His wife and daughter have been there for him over these difficult years with hopes that a donor would be found. Denis needs help. I met Denis through a friend who knew I was trying to find Mike McGee (my husband) a donor to help save his life. When we finally got confirmation that Amy would be our donor my friend Ensook asked if I might help Denis. Denis is an amazing writer with a thoughtful mind who cares about the world. I have met him and know he is a fighter but the fight is a hard one and he
need support.

I know that when in trenches of looking for a donor for someone you love you are experiencing many things and meeting many new people. I have read many stories about people in need and I think it is important to reach out and ask for help when you need it.

I am asking for help for Denis and hope that special person is out there.
