So when we were dating Alex and I asked Mike to buy a house with us and he did. We asked him to play and travel and have an amazing life with us and he did. We asked him to marry us. He said no! He had his reasons and was very sick when we asked. I knew he did not want to have me marry him while he was so sick. But, Alex and I wanted to make a family with him as we all loved each other. I know this sounds all touchy feely but it's true I was crazy about him and Alex was as well. Well, a year went by and in the parking lot of Savons in Fresno he asked me to marry him. Well, he asked both Alex and I and gave us both rings. We said, yes! What I did not know was that he had planned the wedding already for two days later in Auburn with my parents. Two days later we said, I do, at a golf course in Auburn with our families present. It was a great day. Despite how sick Mike was he took the leap with Alex and I. It was the best thing he has ever done and we love him tons for making it all happen.
