The Other Side of the Wall

Kevin left at 4 AM for Houston.  He will meet his sister Amanda and her husband Bob, and take care of their father's house.  Valentine passed away in January.  He will only be gone until Tuesday morning.  Is it possible to miss someone terribly the minute the sliding doors in Continental Airlines close, and you turn the key in the ignition? I had a wonderful dream just before waking up a few hours later.  I cant remember most of it, but I remember how it felt to be in- there was a beautiful baby, just emanating light, and we were talking and talking.  And the baby understood every word and smiled as if to confirm the political position, art movement, economic crunch, the housing crisis - we were lying in bed reading the New York Times.  He had a beautiful nose and big blue eyes.

My first question for the Renal Transplant Coordinator Marya was if the donation would in any way effect my chances of having a healthy baby.  She replied unequivocally no.  That made my decision to continue the testing much easier.
