I am really proud of him but his urge to work for this is no surprise. He is not the type of person to hold back when a challenge presents itself. His nurses where happy to care for him because they saw that he was really trying to work with them and do his best to get well again.
He is strong! I am happy that he is in a normal room and I will rest better now knowing he is able to walk and that all is progressing so well.
Amy is resting and Kevin is keeping a loving eye out for her. I asked him to check in on Mike tonight for me. Thanks Kevin for your help.
Also, Thank you Julie, Tom and Katherine for taking care of Alex to day and coming to the hospital. It was also great to see Jim Lorigan our dear friend. Thanks for your visit...it really lifted our spirits. Thank you Lloyd and Robin for the flowers for Amy and the balloons for Mike. We love you all!

It is SO exciting to see that everyone is doing well. Amy/Mike's kidney is, indeed, very beautiful!
I'm glad all is coming along nicely for both Mike and Amy. Hang in there! Soon, you will be home again and in more comfortable surroundings.
Congratulations to everyone!
